Independent AI certification, built for how government buys.
Agencies adopting AI need documented, third-party evidence of conformity to a published standard at the decision point, produced by an evaluator with no stake in the system passing. This page is for contracting officers, program managers, and primes scoping that evidence into an acquisition.
What AVAAS delivers to a program
AVAAS Inc. independently evaluates AI systems that make or shape decisions about people, and issues a public letter grade backed by a private technical report. For federal programs, the report maps to the documentation and testing posture that OMB M-25-21 and M-25-22 expect for high-impact AI. For DHS components, it aligns to Directives 139-08 and 026-11. For systems whose outputs may reach a courtroom, the evaluation addresses the reliability questions raised by proposed Federal Rule of Evidence 707.
A vendor attestation is the vendor grading itself. An AVAAS certification is an independent answer an inspector general, an auditor, or a court can rely on.
Built for public-sector constraints
Evaluation inside your enclave
For classified or otherwise restricted environments, AVAAS runs the evaluation in the buyer's enclave and returns only aggregates or attestations. Sensitive data never leaves your control.
You did not build the model
Most agency AI is procured. AVAAS certifies the system as deployed, whether built in-house or licensed, so the evidence covers what actually decides.
Evidence that survives oversight
Findings are documented against a published standard, so the same package answers an IG inquiry, a GAO review, and a congressional question.
How to engage
Direct engagement
Program offices can scope a certification or a pilot evaluation directly with AVAAS Inc. through the contact below.
Through a prime
AVAAS works as a subcontractor to systems integrators and primes delivering AI programs, providing the independent verification layer inside a larger delivery.
Start with a pilot
A bounded pilot evaluation of one high-impact system is the fastest way to see the evidence AVAAS produces before committing a program to it.
